At Safeway Driver Education School, we don't just teach people to drive—we build drivers who understand the road, respect it, and navigate it with confidence for life.
Safeway Driver Education School was founded with a single conviction: every new driver deserves patient, thorough instruction from people who genuinely care about their success on the road.
Located at 443 Fair Park Ave in the heart of West Union, we have served Adams County and surrounding communities for over fifteen years. Our curriculum is designed to meet Ohio's requirements while going beyond the minimum—because passing the test is only the beginning.
Whether you are a teenager earning your first license, a parent seeking a reliable course for your child, or an adult looking to refresh your skills, our certified instructors meet you where you are and guide you forward with patience and expertise.
From your very first time in the driver's seat to regaining your confidence after a lapse, we offer comprehensive programs tailored to your needs.
Our flagship program for first-time teen drivers combines classroom instruction with supervised behind-the-wheel training. Students learn traffic laws, hazard awareness, and the practical skills they need to drive safely and independently.
Whether you want to sharpen your skills or fulfill a court-ordered requirement, our defensive driving course teaches proactive techniques for anticipating and avoiding hazards on Ohio's roads.
Looking to reduce points on your license or dismiss a ticket? Our traffic school course is approved by the state and conveniently scheduled to fit your busy life.
One-on-one instruction with a certified instructor gives you the flexibility to learn at your own pace. Ideal for nervous drivers, refresher lessons, or those who prefer personalized attention.
Never learned to drive? It's never too late. Our adult program is designed for grown-ups who want to gain the confidence and competence to drive safely, on their own schedule.
We provide the curriculum, materials, and certification support for parents who want to take an active role in their teen's driver education. Guidance every step of the way.
Driving schools are everywhere. Here's why families in Adams County trust us with their most important passenger—their children.
Real stories from real students and parents who chose Safeway Driver Education School.
My daughter was terrified of driving before her first lesson. By the end of the program, she was so confident she passed her road test on the first attempt. The instructors here truly care.
I was nervous about going back behind the wheel after ten years away from the car. They never made me feel rushed or silly for asking questions. I left feeling like a real driver.
The defensive driving course was thorough and actually interesting. I learned things I wish I'd known when I first got my license. Highly recommend to anyone.
